Educational Philosophy

The Department of Nursing's motto is Caring, Responsible, Critical, Innovative, and Practical, and the Department of Nursing's teaching philosophy aims to cultivate nursing talents who are both humanistic and professional, and make use of digital technology.

The teaching emphasizes the following aspects:

1. Caring: From the cultivation of the nursing profession, learn to understand and care for oneself, and then be able to empathize with others and give culturally appropriate care. Nurturing on campus allows students to brighten themselves up, learn to respect multiculturalism and individual differences, provide holistic care, and put the well-being of patients at the heart of their own and others.

2. Responsible: Teach students bioethics and a serious and responsible attitude to face various challenges in nursing work, and ensure the provision of safe and high-quality nursing care in various situations.

3. Critical: Develop clinical reasoning skills through anatomy, physiology and empirical health care methods and case analysis, and cultivate students' ability to quickly analyze and evaluate complex medical situations to adapt to the rapidly changing medical environment.

4. Innovative: Promote cross-field learning and encourage students to have the courage to propose innovative solutions through cross-field learning and cooperation to promote the progress of the nursing profession.

5. Practical: A practice-oriented education method allows students to extend their on-campus learning to the clinical field, strengthen their application capabilities in real environments, transform knowledge into action, and realize the nursing mission.
