Future Directions

    1.Cross-domain integration promotes overall health:

The Department of Nursing will cooperate with the School of Management, Science and Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences to design health promotion programs that meet the needs of community residents; establish a cross-disciplinary nursing innovation laboratory to promote and develop the application of medical technology and digital management; establish Nursing practical operation training systems such as virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) simulate real nursing scenarios to enhance students’ clinical skills.

    2.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Innovative care model based on evidence:

Carry out an evidence-based multidisciplinary collaborative internship program to allow students to apply clinical reasoning skills in real situations, and combine it with cross-domain project implementation to promote students' application of digital technology in clinical care.

    3. Enhance international vision:

Establish an education and research foundation that is in line with international academic trends and promote international exchange programs; develop nursing courses taught entirely in English to attract international students and improve students' ability to communicate in English; add international cultural sensitivity training to internship courses to strengthen students' Coping skills of patients with multicultural backgrounds.
